Naples UCC Green Justice Team

Mission Statement

We believe as persons of faith, we are called to be stewards of the environment.  As such we affirm our responsibility to care for God’s creation.

We acknowledge that our covenant with God is an everlasting covenant with us, as well as with all future generations and with every living creature. (Genesis 9:12)

We regard the degradation of earth’s environment and climate as one of the greatest moral challenges of our generation and as a profound justice issue.

We affirm the essential role Naples United Church of Christ must play in inspiring new behaviors and participating in non-partisan political advocacy to protect and sustain God’s creation.

Green Justice Team Meetings

The Green Justice Team meets on the 2nd Thursday of the month from 10:00 to 11:30. All are welcome to attend. Please let us know of your desire to attend by emailing greenjustice@naplesucc.org so you can receive the Zoom link.
