Music at Naples United Church of Christ
The Naples UCC music program is both traditional and inspirational. To enhance our worship services, our Music Director, Dr. Becky Weese-Rumpf, recruits outstanding musicians from the Naples Philharmonic as well as artists from all over the nation who look forward to being part of our worship services. Our music program includes choirs for youth and adults as well as a concert series. We also have a dedicated bell choir. Our sacred Schantz pipe organ accompanies the singing of hymns each Sunday. Sanctuary Choir
Performing traditional and inspirational music, our Sanctuary Choir is an integral part of the worship experience at NUCC. The choir, a combination of professional and amateur voices, practices on Wednesday evenings under the direction of Dr. Becky Weese-Rumpf. Children & Youth Choirs
Our Children & Youth Choirs practice weekly with Dr. Becky as part of the after-school SPLASH! program. The choirs sing several times throughout the year during Sunday morning services, enriching our worship with their voices and energy. Contact Ms. Jeannie Snedeker at to learn more about SPLASH!
SANCTUARY CONCERTS
Naples UCC hosts several concerts in our beautiful Sanctuary throughout the program year. All musical offerings are led by Dr. Becky Weese-Rumpf, Director of Music. Our 2024-25 concert season begins with Music Gift Fund Sunday on October 27, 2024. It is also the first Sunday that we will offer two worship services at 9 and 11 a.m.
The NUCC Music Committee is a tremendous source of support for our Music Ministry and presents the music programs, including the Sanctuary Concert Series and Tuesdays at Twilight Series.
Bell Choir
Our handbell choir practices once a week from January through May. Under the guidance of a skilled director, they perform every four to six weeks, sharing their passion for ringing bells. Members are required to read music.
TUESDAYS @ TWILIGHT
Naples UCC’S Music Ministry presents Tuesdays @ Twilight, a concert series featuring local and international musicians. All concerts are held in Beverly Hall. The concert series for 2023-24 season will be announced on Music Gift Fund Sunday on October 29.

Live Music: Organ and Piano
The Naples UCC sanctuary features a three-manual, fifty-eight rank Schantz pipe organ. Each of the organ's 3,359 pipes have been designed, crafted and voiced for our sacred worship space. Our Bechstein grand piano also adds to the grandeur of our music that opens us to God's wondrous presence in our midst.

We regularly host performers from The Naples Philharmonic at Artis-Naples and talented singers from Florida Gulf Coast University. Dr. Becky Weese-Rumpf, our Organist and Director of Music since 2001, oversees every facet of our Music Program. In addition to her choral and organ duties, she manages an extensive concert series.
